OpenAI Rolls Out Shared Project Feature To All Users

OpenAI rolls out the shared Project feature to all users, which allows seamless sharing of information within ChatGPT. 

OpenAI has widened it’s ChatGPT collaboration tools by making the project sharing function available to all person, regardless of subscription plans. Teams can now edit or manage AI projects in real-time.

Project Sharing Now Universal Across Plans

Prior to this, it was only available on previously only available on Enterprise, Business and Edu plans The project sharing feature is now accessible to every ChatGPT accounts. 

This update lets users share their projects with other users and then collaborate and alter content. 

The rollout is available to all users of Free, Plus, Pro and Go plans that are budget-friendly, accessible on the internet, iOS, and Android platforms.

Usage Limits and Features by Plan Type

Each subscription has specific collaboration capabilities, which include:

• Free plan users are able to manage up to five files and invite five collaborators. 
• The Plus and Go subscriptions enjoy more capabilities, including as many as 25 file as well as 10 collaborators permitted. 
• Pro users gain the most benefits, having up to forty files shared and collaborating with up to 100 users.

The visibility settings can be modified at any point, including returning to invitation-only access.
