Google Finance Adds AI Deep Search And Prediction Market Data

Google Finance adds AI Deep Search and prediction market data features, enhancing insights and helping users make smarter investment decisions.

Google Finance announced today that it is rolling out powerful new tools designed to elevate financial research and market analysis. The platform now features Deep Search for complex queries, integration with prediction markets, and enriched earnings tracking.

Deep Search Powers Advanced Financial Queries

The new Deep Search functionality enables users to tackle intricate financial questions by conducting hundreds of simultaneous searches and synthesizing insights from diverse sources.

When selecting the Deep Search option, Google’s Gemini AI models generate fully cited, detailed responses within minutes.

Robert Dunnette, Director of Product Management for Google Search, explained:

“From there, our advanced Gemini models will get to work, issuing up to hundreds of simultaneous searches and reasoning across disparate pieces of information to produce a fully cited, comprehensive response in just a few minutes.”

Deep Search is accessible currently through the Google Finance experiment in Labs and offers increased usage limits for Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers.

Integration of Prediction Markets Data

Google Finance now incorporates data from prediction markets Kalshi and Polymarket, allowing users to query future market event probabilities right from the search box.

Users can check live probabilities and historical trends for questions like “What will GDP growth be for 2025?”

This feature is initially available for Labs users and will expand over the coming weeks.

Upgraded Earnings Tracking with AI Insights

The revamped Earnings tab on Google Finance delivers live audio streams, real-time transcripts, and AI-generated insights during corporate earnings calls.

It provides scheduled call information, live access to broadcasts, and transcripts for review. The “At a glance” section uses AI to update insights before, during, and after calls, summarizing news and analyst reactions.

It also lets users compare current earnings against historical data, track performance versus expectations, and review earnings documents and SEC filings.

Expansion into the Indian Market

Google Finance is launching in India with support for both English and Hindi, offering the core platform features.

Advanced tools like Deep Search, prediction markets, and earnings tracking will debut first in the U.S. before extending globally.

Why These Updates Matter

Deep Search streamlines financial research by condensing multiple data points into a single, comprehensive answer, reducing the need to visit numerous web pages.

The introduction of prediction market data provides useful crowd-sourced forecasts that complement traditional analyst estimates.

Enhanced earnings tracking integrates critical information streams into one interface, improving real-time decision-making during reporting seasons.

Looking Ahead

These features will gradually become available to the broader user base, with Labs users gaining early access. Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers can leverage higher query limits for Deep Search.

The India launch represents an important step in expanding Google Finance’s global presence.

Users can try the beta experience at google.com/finance/beta while signed into their Google accounts.
