CapCut Rolls Out New Features Including LinkedIn Integration
CapCut introduces new features, including seamless LinkedIn integration that simplifies the process of editing and publishing videos directly from the platform.
The video editing app from Meta Edits continues to improve its capabilities, and TikTok’s CapCut is also introducing new features to keep its position as the top video editor.
Streamlined Sharing through LinkedIn Integration
CapCut has launched an innovative LinkedIn integration that enables users to export their videos directly to LinkedIn.

As you can see in the example screen, social media expert Lindsey Gamble showcased the feature and demonstrated how the CapCut composer includes a LinkedIn sharing button, enabling seamless posting.
LinkedIn explains:
“Now, after you create and edit a video in CapCut, you can share it to LinkedIn in just two taps: no more exporting hassle or extra steps to go through. And just like when you post a video directly on LinkedIn, content you share from CapCut that’s related to our video trends will automatically become eligible to surface in those trends.”
As you can see in the second image above, videos shared via CapCut will display the “Made with CapCut” message over the caption. It is essential to note that LinkedIn states that editing content using CapCut does not impact the content’s rankings within its feed algorithm.
Capitalizing on LinkedIn’s Video Focus
With LinkedIn increasingly focusing on videos, the integration offers an excellent opportunity for creators to reuse content effectively across platforms.
Although content that is TikTok-style may require minor tweaks, this feature makes it easier to extend the reach of your content to professional audiences.
Furthermore, CapCut offers a LinkedIn banner image maker to allow for further customisation of content.
Expanded Generative AI Tools for Enhanced Creation
CapCut has also announced new AI-powered tools designed to help increase and enhance the quality of content.

These include:
- Text-to-video creation: Creates videos using text-based prompts, including music and scripts.
- AI media generation: Access External AI models such as Veo3 or Seedream, for image and video creation
- AI Characters and Avatars: Transform photos into animated, real-life characters that can be manipulated with gestures and even voice commands.
- New editing tools for improved editing. Tools such as AutoCut, AI Clipper, and Transcript tools make it easier to fine-tune and personalize.
- Multilingual translations can help creators reach a wider audience, such as YouTube’s auto-dubbing system.
Exploring the full capabilities of CapCut could be an excellent option for anyone seeking to improve the effectiveness and creative potential of video marketing.
Bottom Line
These updates altogether simplify the workflow of video content, making it easier to produce videos and offering a wider range of posting options. Direct LinkedIn export enables users to enhance cross-platform interaction with minimal effort.
