TikTok Officially Rolls Out Its Bulletin Boards Feature

TikTok officially rolls out its Bulletin Boards feature, allowing creators to curate posts, updates, and recommendations in one place.

TikTok has officially launched its broadcast messaging tool called “Bulletin Boards,” designed to help creators connect more efficiently with their audience. Previously it was available to some users in beta testing for several months.

A Fresh Way to Engage Followers

As you can see in the example that Bulletin Boards act as a one-to-many messaging channel, similar to Instagram’s Broadcast Channels, providing a dedicated space for creators to share short text, image, and video updates.

Profile visitors can join a creator’s Bulletin Board to receive real-time notifications when new content is posted, keeping followers consistently informed on key news and updates.

Easy Setup and Flexible Control

Earlier this month, TikTok updated its documentation about Bulletin Boards, suggesting that it would be looking to make them more broadly available.

This feature is now broadly accessible to creators aged 18 and over with at least 50,000 followers.

Eligible creators can create their Bulletin Board directly from their Inbox, where they name the board, add a description, and decide whether to show it publicly on their profile or restrict it for exclusivity.

Followers join by tapping the Bulletin Board link located under the creator’s bio on their profile.

TikTok explains:

“Simply go to that creator’s profile page, and click the bulletin board’s name under the creator’s bio. After a follower chooses to join a creator’s bulletin board, they will receive notifications in their inbox whenever that creator posts, to which they can react with emojis, making it a simple, streamlined way for creators to communicate at scale.”

Building on Earlier Testing

This feature was first observed in testing back in June 2025, with TikTok updating its official documentation earlier in November to indicate wider availability.

Now officially launched, it offers creators with substantial followings a new tool to build community and maintain engagement amid increasing demand for direct messaging options beyond traditional video posts.

Limited Access but Strong Potential

The 50,000-follower threshold limits access to more prominent creators who are eligible creators aged 18 years and above.

Bulletin Boards represent a valuable channel for delivering timely updates, announcing events, or sharing exclusive content.

The ability to react with emojis creates interactive feedback without overwhelming creators with direct messages or comments.

Bottom Line

In an increasingly private and direct communication landscape, this rollout further empowers creators to nurture their audience relationships thoughtfully and efficiently within the TikTok ecosystem.
